- Oversee mobility-related compliance and risk - including tax, immigration, employment law, and social security - in partnership with internal and external advisors.
- Act as a trusted regional advisor to HR, People leaders, and the business, connecting stakeholders to the Head of Global Mobility as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders, ensuring mobility solutions support business and talent priorities.
- Monitor regulatory and market developments across the Americas and proactively recommend policy and process adjustments.
- Support the design and continuous improvement of global mobility frameworks, tools, and ways of working.
- Champion the use of data, analytics, and AI to enhance the effectiveness and scalability of global mobility programs.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building across HR and the broader business on global mobility topics.
The skills you bring
- Deep subject matter expertise in global mobility, including international assignments, permanent transfers, business travel, commuter arrangements, and hybrid mobility patterns.
- Solid working knowledge of tax, immigration, social security, and employment considerations for cross-border moves in the Americas, especially the US and Canada.
- Demonstrated ability to assess risk, interpret complex regulations, and provide pragmatic recommendations that balance compliance, cost, and business needs.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex mobility concepts clearly to non-specialist audiences.
- Experience applying technology, data, and AI to streamline processes and improve the experience for employees and managers.
- High level of integrity, sound judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Collaborative approach, comfortable working in a global, matrixed environment across functions, geographies, and cultures.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Global Mobility-focused role, preferably within a large, multinational organization.
- Familiarity with global mobility technology platforms, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools is strongly preferred.
