Position Description:

At PAR Technology, we’re building a Total Rewards function that connects data, design, and business performance.

Reporting to the Senior Compensation Analyst as a member of the broader Total Rewards Team, this role leads the design, administration and optimization of PAR’s equity and long-term incentive (LTI) programs, while also driving retirement plans and supporting broader total rewards analytics and governance. This role combines deep technical expertise in equity administration with strong financial acumen to ensure programs are executed flawlessly, align with business performance, and deliver measurable employee and shareholder value. The role also serves as a backup compensation analyst and oversees retirement plan administration in partnership with third-party providers.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in compensation, finance, accounting, equity, or total rewards analysis with education grounded in HR, Finance, Business, Economics or related field.

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in equity administration (e.g., stock plans, LTI programs) with demonstrated financial modeling and analytical expertise

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll and Legal

  • Experience with stock plan administration systems (e.g., Shareworks, Fidelity)

  • Familiarity with stock-based compensation accounting concepts

  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and data visualization skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar).

  • Interest in using AI and analytics to enhance reporting, insight generation, and program efficiency.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to partner effectively with HR, Finance, and business leaders.

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

Equity & LTI Strategy and Administration

  • Own end-to-end equity administration, including grant processing, vesting, exercises, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and external administrators to manage equity plans, filings, and governance.

  • Contribute to LTI strategy design, including financial modeling, dilution analysis, and executive/board-level materials.

  • Support annual equity grant cycles and ongoing program administration.

  • Serves as point of contact for LTI plan participants

Retirement Plans Management

  • Oversee administration of retirement plans (e.g., 401(k), RRSP) in partnership with third-party administrators and advisors.

  • Monitor plan compliance, participation, and vendor performance.

  • Support plan design enhancements based on utilization, cost, and employee needs.

Compensation & Total Rewards Support

  • Serve as a backup compensation analyst for benchmarking, pay modeling, and annual planning cycles.

  • Support salary structures, market pricing, and incentive program analysis.

  • Partner with HRBPs and People Ops to ensure consistent, compliant execution of programs globally.

  • Design and launch communications and training materials or third-party resources for Plan participants.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain financial models for equity, LTI, and benefits programs.

  • Partner with Finance on forecasting, accounting impacts (e.g., stock-based compensation), and budget tracking.

  • Produce monthly and quarterly reporting for HR, Finance, and executive stakeholders.

  • Build dashboards linking total rewards investments to retention, performance, and engagement outcomes.

  • Partner with Legal on the annual proxy process, coordinating Total Rewards inputs for CD&A, equity plan disclosures, executive compensation tables, governance timelines, and related review cycles.
