- Manage and grow assigned testing accounts through account management, renewals, and service-line expansion.
- Respond promptly to inbound leads and execute a consistent follow-up cadence to qualify and advance opportunities.
- Identify customer testing needs and business drivers, then position FoodChain ID testing solutions that address those requirements.
- Build relationships with quality, food safety, procurement, operations, and other key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
- Develop and execute account and territory plans that create new testing opportunities and revenue growth.
- Lead sales opportunities from discovery through pricing, proposal development, negotiation, and close, in alignment with FoodChain ID pricing and turnaround-time standards.
- Partner with laboratory teams, technical experts, product, and marketing to confirm solution feasibility and ensure customer needs are addressed.
- Support customers in establishing new sample-submission processes and testing programs.
- Maintain accurate customer activity, opportunity, and forecast information in Salesforce.
- Bachelor's degree in business, food science, a related scientific discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Customer service or other laboratory experience, preferably in food and beverage testing, laboratory services, food safety, quality, or another technical-services environment.
- Demonstrated success managing consultative B2B sales opportunities and closing complex deals.
- Working knowledge of sales processes, including lead qualification, account development, pricing, and closing.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
