10Pearls is seeking a Test Lead to oversee our testing practices for our customer projects.
This job can be done remotely in the United States or onsite (post-COVID).
Your day-to-day:
- Work as a team member on projects to champion excellence in software testing.
- Ensure testing industry best practices are followed throughout the duration of projects to drive success.
- Escalate project-related testing issues to the Project Manager.
- Conduct training for new team members on writing good requirements-based test cases (various types including system, integration, UAT, End to End).
- Conduct training for new testing team members on executing test cases and logging defects.
- Conduct training for new development team on defect management.
- Upload test cases to ALM and/or Azure DevOps, as needed.
- Provide leadership with current testing status at least twice a day on active cycles.
- Configure and set up ALM and/or Azure DevOps Test Lab for execution.
- Lead Defect Triage meetings to facilitate defect visibility and to quickly move to resolution.
- Provide support and mentoring to testers during testing cycles.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5+ years of software testing experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years of ALM and/or Azure DevOps experience.
- Very strong Excel skills.
- Firmly rooted in requirements-based Testing approaches and practices.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Very effective team player.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
