ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Test Engineering Intern here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with engineering, program management, operations, manufacturing, and test teams to help track project activities, document results, support laboratory testing, and prepare technical and project status updates. This internship offers a unique opportunity to help shape technologies that will enable humanity’s return to the Moon, support future deep-space exploration, and strengthen the capabilities that safeguard the space domain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparing and executing test plans and procedures.
- Support data gathering and basic analysis during testing activities.
- Collaborate with team members to address test-related issues and improve processes.
Location: This position is available in multiple locations across the United States.
The exact worksite location will be selected based on business requirements and the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.
The hourly base range for this position is $25.00/hr - $44.85/hr. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in an Engineering discipline or similar field
· Must graduate December 2027 or later
· Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
· Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
· Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
Honeywell Aerospace is currently unable to consider applicants who would require current or future sponsorship for employment authorization for this position. Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
WE VALUE:
- Relevant coursework or project experience related to testing or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with Electronics, Schematics and Electrical Basics
- Familiarity with Lab Equipment (Multimeters, Scopes, etc..)
- Knowledge of basic PM principles
- Basic familiarity with test equipment or software tools
- Familiarity with RF systems, antennas, wireless communications, or electronic hardware.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical documentation, and laboratory test equipment.
- Familiarity with system integration, troubleshooting, data collection, and test reporting.
Interning at Honeywell Aerospace provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, professional development, and mentorship within a global organization. Interns will receive relocation benefits and short-term housing if they are 50 miles or more from their assigned work location (excluding Puerto Rico and Canada).
