Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Estimated annual base pay: $77,000 (minimum) - $100,000 (midpoint) - $123,000 (maximum)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Test Plans: Designs and implements comprehensive test strategies to evaluate product functionality and performance against specifications.

  • Execute Testing Procedures: Conducts systematic testing activities to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Analyze Test Data: Interprets test results to assess product reliability and recommends appropriate improvements.

  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Works closely with design and development teams to resolve technical issues and enhance product quality.

  • Provide Technical Support: Offers informal guidance and assistance to junior team members to promote knowledge sharing and team effectiveness.

  • Customer Orientation: Develops a deep understanding of customer needs and processes to tailor testing strategies that meet their requirements.

Successful candidates typically have:

  • 4year Bachelors BS OR 8+ years equivalent experience.

  • Aerospace or similar lab testing experience.

  • Experience with mechanical vibration theory and testing, particularly with electrodynamic shakers is a plus.

  • Experience with environmental, structural, HALT/HASS, or vibration testing.

  • Data acquisition, control system, and operator interface/HMI programming experience (LabVIEW, Veristand, MTS, GAP, or similar preferred).

  • Experience with automated test controls and/or mechanical test system designs.

  • Experience with electrical wiring or circuit schematic design.

  • Experience with hydraulics or fluid power systems.
