As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will develop and implement tests to validate product quality. This role involves defining, preparing, and integrating comprehensive test systems with corresponding documentation. You will work collaboratively with electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to ensure design for testability, build test setups, execute test campaigns, and produce test reports.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Define and prepare comprehensive test systems with corresponding documentation.
  • Develop test procedures for a manufacturing environment, suitable for use by peers and technicians.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to ensure test requirements are clearly defined.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for existing production test equipment.
  • Determine program scope and cost determination.
  • Present test campaign plans, schedules, and results to customers.
  • Report and update test department metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related technical discipline with 3+ years of Proven experience.
  • Familiarity with Python and LabVIEW.
  • Experience with testing spaceflight hardware.
  • Experience with thermal vacuum and vibration testing of flight hardware.
  • Experience developing integration and test plans/procedures and reports.
  • Ability to handle moderately complex issues and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3D CAD tools and data management
  • Instrumentation and controls, and data acquisition systems experience, with preference towards National Instruments hardware

 

Compensation Range for:

CO applicants is $88,284.00-$123,597.60

  • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification, Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
