As a Mobile Infrastructure Verification Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team developing, testing, and supporting innovative software and hardware systems, collaborate with experienced engineers, and participate in 5G RAN end-to-end system testing including integration, verification & testing against customer requirements and specifications. You will be directly involved in developing, training, and testing AI model to be used for discovering potential malfunction in 5G system.
Responsibilities- Develop AI models for analyze, design, test as well as bug finding in Nokia gNB
- Preprocess data sources for network training and querying
- Train the AI model based on expected messages exchanges between networks elements
- Test the AI models on different log types of simulated and real environment systems reproduced in laboratory
- Support with implementing and testing model architectures using advanced frameworks.
- Participate in Customer Validation Requirement regression & feature study and test case execution with AI tools.
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in telecommunications, computer engineering, electrical engineering, AI/ML and data analysis or a related field.
- Hands-on knowledge in mobile network technologies, with a strong focus on RAN systems and AI/ML applications.
- Good programming skills in Python, familiarity with LLMs (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, or similar) and NotebookLM, Langchain/LangGraph.
- Basic knowledge of 5G Mobile Networks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexible and adaptable in managing varied tasks
It would be nice if you also had: - Strong foundation in telecommunications, networking protocols, and network performance analysis with proven problem-solving skills
- Experiences in AI/ML-powered RAN technologies and a proven ability to innovate in AI-RAN architecture.
- Knowledge of AI-RAN and Cloud RAN
- Previous Nokia internship or co-op experience is beneficial.
