Territory Manager – Medical Device Sector
USA – Home-based (East Coast Hours)
Are you an experienced B2B sales professional with a passion for identifying new opportunities and building long-term client relationships? BSI’s Knowledge Solutions team is hiring a Territory Manager to lead new business development and account growth for our digital compliance tool, Compliance Navigator, in the medical device sector.
This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment and is confident engaging with small to mid-sized companies. You’ll be selling a solution that truly matters—helping organizations stay compliant in an ever-changing regulatory landscape.
The salary for this position can range from $85,000-$105,000 with commission annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
Responsibilities:
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, focusing on new business opportunities and renewals within the medical device sector.
Engage with decision-makers at various levels through compelling presentations and demos.
Build and manage a high-quality pipeline, targeting Tier 1, 2, and 3 clients from an assigned prospect list.
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Knowledge Solutions, Healthcare, and Regulatory Services to ensure a seamless client experience.
Support client renewals by identifying opportunities to upgrade and expand subscriptions well before expiration dates.
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting through Salesforce (SFDC).
Create tailored commercial proposals and negotiate agreements aligned with BSI policies.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Proven experience in new business development and B2B account management, ideally within the medical device or regulatory space.
A successful track record selling digital information solutions or compliance tools.
Confidence in cold outreach, lead generation, and managing your own calendar of client activity.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Comfort working independently in a remote setting while collaborating across teams.
Solid proficiency in CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and standard business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
