Lead sales efforts as the Territory Manager for Arc'teryx in the Southwest USA, building relationships with specialty retail partners, executing marketing strategies, and actively promoting the brand.

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As a Territory Manager at Arc’teryx, you will lead the work to bring Arc’teryx to life in Specialty Retail in the Southwest USA while supporting efforts to build our community in our Brand Stores and National Accounts. When successful, the Arc’teryx Guest will experience a seamless brand experience across your territory. In this role, you will scout out and work with the best Outdoor, Climb, and Ski retailers in your territory to bring our vision to life while supporting their success in sell through and community building.
This role can be hired remote within Colorado. Business operations occur on PST time zone.

The US Commercial team is accountable for delivering sales through all local channels. We meet the guest where they are shopping, and ensure Arc’teryx is represented in an authentic, consistent way. As the retail landscape changes, we will work together to evolve our approach with creativity and teamwork.
If you were the Territory Manager, US Southwest now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Working closely with the best specialty retail partners in the following states: Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas
- Translating the seasonal strategy to sell-in and marketing plans to secure pre-orders and a commitment from our specialty base to bring future seasons to life on the retail floor with accompanying sell-through plans
- Selling into new channels with our freshly launched in-house footwear
- Training retail staff on our brand promise, seasonal vision, and product specifics so they can spread the Arc’teryx stoke and drive full price sell through with delighted guests
- Connecting members of the Arc’teryx community – Brand Stores, Ambassadors, Regional Staff, National Account shop pros - in your territory through events and activations that build brand awareness and excitement
- Managing your orderbook to ensure best possible fulfillment, satisfied partners, and in-season sales opportunities
- Using experience and data to strengthen forecasts, planning, and product feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Leading the Southwest region with an emphasis on strategic account management while delivering the Arc’teryx wholesale vision
- Traveling your territory to sell, stoke, and educate on the Arc’teryx brand and it’s offering (40% of your time will be travelling within your territory)

- Prototyping new retail formats in partnership with our specialty retailers that elevate the brand experience, build awareness, and increase sales
- Working closely with the Community Marketing team to identify new guests to bring to the brand
- Building and executing your vision for the Southwest territory and evolving the status quo at Arc’teryx
- Developing strengths in your role cross functionally that you are passionate about with high opportunity for growth
Are you our next Territory Manager, US Southwest?
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
- You have 5+years of sales experience in outdoor sales or related industry; ideally selling apparel and footwear
- You have a strong ability to build relationships, sell, influence, and negotiate
- You have strong presentation and communication skills
- You have excellent organizational skills, analytical ability, and a track record of strategic planning
- You are optimistic about the future and what can be achieved, and listen to others’ needs
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office
- You have the ability to work well independently, and in a team
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with unwavering commitment
