The Role

Red 6 is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Temproary Part-Time Office Coordinator to support the daily operations and foster a welcoming, organized, and high-functioning workplace. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, knows how to get things done and brings energy to those who work around them. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support onboarding, event coordination, office upkeep, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Hire & Onboarding Support

    • Coordinate with HR and IT on preparing onboarding materials and workspace setup.

    • Welcome new hires on Day 1 with workspace tours and orientation materials.

    • Help maintain a polished and professional first-day experience.

  • Office Environment & Supplies

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and functional office environment.

    • Track and restock office supplies, groceries, kitchen items, and branded swag.

    • Support upkeep of office equipment and coordinate light facilities requests.

  • Team Events & Culture Support

    • Assist in planning and executing in-office and off-site team events.

    • Manage logistics such as catering orders, scheduling, event supplies, and decorations.

    • Help foster a fun and inclusive team environment by supporting culture-building efforts.

  • Shipping, Errands & Logistics

    • Handle inbound/outbound package shipping and mail services.

    • Run local errands (e.g., picking up event supplies, office items, etc.).

    • Coordinate with vendors and delivery drivers.

  • On-Site Meeting & Guest Support

    • Set up and tidy meeting rooms before/after use, including tech and refreshments.

    • Greet visitors and ensure a polished guest experience at the front of house.

    • Ensure on-site meetings run smoothly from start to finish.

  • Administrative Assistance

    • Provide general administrative support and pitch in on special projects.

    • Track and respond to office-related needs or requests from employees.

    • Maintain internal calendars for office events or key dates.

  • Tech-Friendly: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, and a comfort level learning basic office tools and systems.

  • Qualified candidates must have the ability to obtain a security clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years in office coordination, administration, or events support.

  • Flexibility in work hours.

  • Experience working in a tech, startup, or hybrid environment.

  • Comfort working independently and cross-functionally across teams.
