Forbes is looking to hire a highly organized and exceptionally thorough researcher to assist the editors of our marquee Forbes 400 and World’s Billionaires lists. That person will review and organize the years of research our reporters have compiled on hundreds of billionaires, ensuring our research files are orderly and consistent across the board, with the goal of being able to better mine our database for current and historical trends. He or she will play a key role in helping the Forbes Wealth team overhaul several of the key internal databases behind its rankings.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and organizing our research files and in-house database for clarity and consistency.
- Assisting senior editors on the team in reviewing and digitizing several decades of Forbes’ historical lists.
- Working with members of the technology team to ensure that data is formatted in a way that supports Forbes' internal processes.
The ideal candidate
- Extraordinary attention to detail.
- Phenomenal organization skills.
- Prior experience in data entry, data cleaning and/or archival work.
- Comfort with financial figures and terms is a plus, as is knowledge and experience with AI tools.

The hourly rate for this role is $24.00 - $24.00
