THE OPPORTUNITY
We're an early-stage healthcare startup offering telehealth services, seeing patients across all 50 states, with visits ranging topics in both internal medicine and family medicine and 8–12 providers on at any given time. We're building the operational infrastructure to match our clinical ambitions, and this role is central to that.
The Telehealth Clinic Manager sits at the intersection of clinical judgment and operational execution. You’ll be the person providers trust to clear the path, and the person ops staff looks to when they’re unsure how to escalate. It’s a real-time, high-ownership role, with the autonomy to match.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
• Real-time clinic flow — queues, SLAs, patient progression, and same-day staffing decisions across a 15-hour operating day.
• The clinical–ops bridge — translating provider needs into operational action and surfacing constraints back to the clinical team.
• Escalation judgment — identifying patient safety and provider concerns, routing them correctly, and following through.
• Provider experience — reducing friction so clinicians spend their time on clinical decisions, not administrative noise.
• Team performance — QA, live coaching, SOP development, and training for non-clinical staff.
• Metrics — response times, throughput, escalation accuracy, and patient NPS, with regular reporting to clinical leadership.
SCHEDULE & COVERAGE
Our clinic currently runs Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–9:00 PM MT and daytime on weekends. This role is built around the core Mon–Fri window of 7:00 AM–7:00 PM MT — peak hours for both provider activity and patient volume.
Ideal shift is 8 hours within that window, finalized collaboratively. Weekend rotation is structured and predictable — not ad hoc on-call.
WHO YOU ARE
• Active RN with Compact licensure (or willingness to obtain). BSN required; MSN or graduate degree a plus.
• 3+ years of clinical experience in internal medicine, family medicine, or urgent care.
• 2+ years in healthcare operations, clinic management, or care coordination leadership — telehealth experience strongly preferred.
• You understand what providers need before they have to ask, and you know how to build that trust with a clinical team.
• You’re comfortable building in ambiguity — SOPs and escalation frameworks don’t fully exist yet; you’ll create them.
• You can coach a team in real time without creating friction.
WHY JOIN US
• You’ll work closely with the Medical Director, not buried in a large org.
• A team being built around you — a Clinic Operations Lead hire is planned within 90 days of this role starting.
• Your work will shape how virtual care gets delivered at scale across all 50 states.
• Competitive base ($95,000–$110,000), performance bonus, equity participation, and full benefits.
If you’re a clinician drawn to building — not just managing — and you want to help define how virtual care works at scale, we’d love to talk.
