AGE Solutions is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Specialist who specializes in Local Area Networks (LAN) design and engineering. Candidate must have experience directing technical work and leading the team for on-site installations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for directing technical work on projects.
  • Performs a variety of analyses and prepares appropriate documentation.
  • Prepares and makes briefings and presentations.
  • Leads team in on-site management of installations.
  • Works independently and installs, operates, maintains, configures, troubleshoots, and repairs IT systems devices, circuits, cables, components, software, and end-user devices, components, software, and connectivity.
  • Assists in the development and management of project plans. This includes the review of task performance and work products for correctness, for adherence to design concepts and user requirements, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure Engineering team to review technical drawings, validate cable plans and coordinate cable and or power infrastructure specifics as it relates to installation of LAN hardware.
  • Coordinates with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience:
    • Must have 8 years of telecommunications experience
    • Must have at least 7 years of local area network (LAN) experience.
  • Certifications:
    • Must have and maintain a compliant DoD 8570 IAT or IAM Level II Certification, such as Security+CE.
    • Must have and maintain a valid Computing Environment certification, such as CCNP or CCNP-E.
  • Citizenship and Clearance:
    • US Citizenship is required
    • DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma.
  • Location:
    • This is a remote role within the United States requiring approximately 50% travel, both CONUS and OCONUS. Candidates must have a valid US Passport, or the ability to obtain one quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification.

Work Environment and Physical Demand:

  • Must be able to lift 30-50lbs over your head.
  • Must be able to bend and move around equipment racks.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Compensation: $100,000+
