Technical Writer

We're seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our growing Technical Writing team, part of our broader knowledge development strategy. Your primary role will be to create clear, comprehensive documentation that helps enterprise customers, developers, and end users understand, implement, and use our identity verification solutions. Beyond this, you will have the opportunity to (re)define a knowledge delivery strategy that leverages product surfaces and AI tooling. You will work closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to translate complex technical concepts into accessible and effective user-focused content

• Develop and maintain technical documentation including release notes, user documentation, integration guides, API references, and SDK documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information from engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts
• Manage documentation projects from conception through publication, meeting deadlines and balancing multiple priorities
• Review and edit content created by team members and stakeholders
• Follow documentation standards and best practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all content
• Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation standards, processes, tools (including AI tools), and workflows alongside other technical writing team members
• Design and implement documentation architecture that scales with our product offerings and existing documentation set

• 5+ years of professional technical writing experience, preferably in software, SaaS, or developer-focused products
• Proven expertise with MadCap Flare for authoring, managing, and publishing technical content
• Strong experience with GitHub for version control
• Familiarity with tools like Notion or Jira and Confluence for knowledge management, project tracking, and team collaboration
• Exceptional writing and editing skills that allow you to produce clear, concise technical documentation
• Experience working in agile development environments and adapting to fast-paced product cycles
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand complex systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working effectively with multi-national peers across different time zones
• Fluency in written English and Spanish to reach our large customer base*

*Professional fluency in written Spanish is required for one of the openings

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Markdown
• Understanding of API documentation and developer documentation best practices
• Experience documenting identity verification, biometrics, or security/authentication technologies
• Familiarity with additional documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI, ReadMe, Confluence)
• Experience creating video tutorials, interactive demos, or other multimedia content
• Ability to utilize AI tools to increase personal and team efficiency
