Jaxon is looking for Technical Writer I (entry level) to work at our headquarters in Colorado Springs.

Annual Salary: $55,000 - 58,000 experience dependent 

Schedule: Full-time

Location: In-person

Travel Requirement: Currently no expectation to travel, but there may be opportunities to do so

Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to provide or obtain a Secret Clearance

Requirements

Primary Duties:

· Develop content for multiple types of documents by translating technical information and data into readable content for a wide-ranging audience 

· Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to generate content for various types of documents, including technical work plans, reports, and white papers 

· Collaborate with a Technical Editor to structure documents and make revisions during the document review process 

· Build documents based on governing style guides, contract requirements, and company policies and procedures 

· Proficient with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint 

Required Job Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree and 0 to 1 year of experience in writing or related field

· Experience with Microsoft products is a requirement

· Must be a US citizen with the ability to acquire a DOD Secret clearance or higher
