Job Purpose: This position is responsible for providing documentation support for iLIFE operations as well as supporting projects based on business needs. Documentation support includes but is not limited to creating, maintaining, and executing changes to internal/external documents as needed, updating internal policy and procedures under the direction of the Quality Manager and Supervisor, monitoring and maintaining up-to-date documentation for internal documents. Project support will be based on business needs that includes but is not limited to data collection, data analysis, reporting data, and creating project materials as needed, and processing or completing tasks for various iLIFE projects on an ad hoc basis.

- Assists in creating and maintaining agency policy documents, work instructions, sample forms, and educational materials
- Assists in creating and maintaining management of documentation review process
- Support development of frameworks for template formatting, version control, and standardized terminology
- Assists with RFP and business development initiatives by providing ad hoc research and document development services
- Collaborate with internal teams and SME’s to conduct interviews and research to gain an in-depth understanding of interdependent work tasks
- Practices and promotes a safe and positive workplace
- Follows agency and internal departmental policies and procedures
- Ensure output is high quality, reliable, and valid at all times
- Other duties, special projects as assigned
Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalist, Communications, or Technical Communications or equivalent experience.
Minimum Required Experience: At least one year of experience in technical writing or training documentation role. At least four years’ experience demonstrated providing administrative and organizational skills and ability.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use word processing, document design, image manipulation, email software applications, Microsoft Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous assignments simultaneously
- Ability to work with internal teams to obtain an in depth understanding of work tasks and processes of several interdependent teams
- Ability to effectively interview users and subject matter experts to gather data for documentation
- Ability to analyze existing and new content for usability and accessibility
- Ability to write easy to understand user guides, document samples, handouts, training materials, etc.
- Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, and achieves results with little oversight
Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal.
Working Conditions: None: The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
