Job Title: Technical Training Specialist
Location: Denver, Colorado/Hybrid

The Technical Training Specialist is responsible for developing and executing training plans, training materials, and classes, scheduling classes at client facilities (both remote and in-person), and providing software instruction to our clients on use of the Kaseware product. They also review results and trainee feedback to improve materials and classes, as well as identify and develop additional software training opportunities.
Job Type: Full-time, exempt
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess individual and group training needs; maintain individual and group training records
- Plan, prepare, and research lessons
- Organize and promote courses
- Develop and deliver programs of learning activities
- Prepare teaching/course materials
- Instruct users on an individual or group basis
- Apply new technologies to deliver courses and improve the learning experience for users (e.g., distance learning, interactive CBT, blended training)
- Own and maintain the Kaseware Learning Management System
- Keep personal IT skills and knowledge up to date
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical trainer, training specialist, or a similar role
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Advanced technical skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Experience creating training materials and giving presentations
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience in use/administration of an LMS
- A track record of following through on commitments
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects
Preferred Experience:
- Training experience in public safety, law enforcement, CAD, and/or RMS
Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field, which may include Adult Education, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering
