A Little About the Role 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Consultant to join our team. This role focuses on leveraging technical expertise and product knowledge to build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing enterprise customers, ensuring they achieve their goals through Procare products and services. This role will be critical in the pre-sale engagement by collaborating with the Sales team to understand customers’ business needs and demonstrate how Procare’s products can address those needs and challenges. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, consultative sales and strong interpersonal and communication skills with both external and internal stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with new and existing Sales teams to understand customer needs and provide expert guidance on how our products can address specific business challenges
  • Solution Design: Lead solution discovery and design workshops with potential and existing customers, helping to tailor our solutions to fit their unique business and technical requirements
  • Product Demos: Deliver engaging and customized product demonstrations, highlighting the value, features, and technical capabilities of our software. Address specific customer pain points and use cases
  • Technical Consultation: Serve as the technical resource during sales engagements, answering detailed product questions, addressing technical concerns, and ensuring alignment with customer requirements
  • RFPs & Proposals: Assist with crafting responses to RFPs; writing technical and product sections of proposals, ensuring alignment with customer needs and positioning our solutions competitively
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer during internal discussions, providing feedback to product teams based on client needs, and collaborating on future product developments
  • Relationship Management: Build trust and credibility with customer contacts at all levels within an organization (c-suite, VP, Director, owner, etc.)
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure customer requirements are being met and to help shape the future roadmap based on market insights
  • Training & Enablement: Assist with in-depth training needs for existing customers 
  • Stay Updated on Product & Industry Trends: Continuously learn about product enhancements, market trends, and industry challenges to provide customers with up-to-date advice and recommendations

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders
  • High degree of technical acumen 
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering or a related field
  • 5-8 years' of experience in a Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or pre-sales role in and Enterprise Saas Environment
  • Payment experience preferred 
  • Ability to travel (quarterly travel required at minimum)

Salary

The annual cash compensation for this role offers an on-target earnings potential of $150,000/year (base + variable commissions)

Location

This position is based in our Denver, CO office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to work from our Denver, CO office a few days a week.
