Solace is a healthcare advocacy marketplace that connects patients and families to experts who help them understand and take charge of their personal health

About the Role

As a Technical Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in growing our team, owning full-cycle recruiting for technical and engineering roles. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, drive sourcing strategies, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience. This is a fast-paced role for someone who thrives in an early-stage startup environment and is eager to build strong talent pipelines.

About Solace

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate it without help. Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare by pairing patients with expert advocates and giving them the tools to make better decisions—and get better outcomes.

We're a Series B startup, founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, and Signalfire. Our fully remote U.S. team is lean, mission-driven, and growing quickly.

Solace isn't a place to coast. We're here to redefine healthcare—and that demands urgency, precision, and heart. If you're looking to stretch yourself, sharpen your edge, and do the best work of your life alongside a team that cares deeply, you're in the right place. We’re intense, and we like it that way.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for engineering and technical roles, from sourcing to offer stage.

  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, GitHub, technical communities, and other social platforms to engage top talent.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand team needs and define ideal candidate profiles.

  • Maintain and optimize our ATS (Ashby) to track, manage, and report on recruiting metrics.

  • Conduct structured interviews and assessments to ensure alignment with our company values and technical requirements.

  • Provide detailed, thoughtful feedback to hiring managers and candidates, ensuring a high-touch communication process.

  • Build and nurture a strong pipeline of technical candidates, keeping them engaged for future opportunities.

  • Continuously improve our recruiting processes and candidate experience as we scale.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on engineering and technical hires.

  • Experience recruiting in early-stage startups, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

  • Strong sourcing skills, with deep knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and alternative sourcing channels.

  • Experience working with ATS platforms like Ashby and leveraging data to improve hiring processes.

  • Detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously while maintaining high-quality candidate interactions.

  • Passion for building high-performing teams and contributing to a strong company culture.

If you're a recruiter who thrives in a high-energy startup setting and is passionate about scaling engineering teams, we’d love to hear from you!

This is a remote position. Applicants must be based in the United States.

Up for the Challenge?

We look forward to meeting you.
