As a Technical Recruiter at FMX, you’ll lead recruiting for our technical teams, primarily across Engineering and Product, with some support for technical roles in Customer Success and Marketing. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to understand their teams and hiring needs, develop thoughtful sourcing strategies, and build relationships with candidates in competitive and specialized talent markets.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys technical recruiting and wants to develop real expertise in the roles and teams they support. You’ll manage searches from kickoff through close, spend meaningful time sourcing and engaging passive candidates, and work closely with the Talent team to improve how we recruit technical talent at FMX.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruiting process for technical roles across Engineering, Product, Marketing, and select Customer Success positions, from job posting and sourcing through interviews and offers.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for technical and niche roles, rather than sourcing reactively as requisitions open.
  • Develop subject-matter expertise in the technical functions you support so you can credibly speak to role requirements, skill sets, and career paths with candidates and hiring managers alike.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, develop interview plans, and make confident hiring decisions.
  • Engage passive candidates through sourcing, outreach, passive candidate conversations, and coffee chats to build a strong bench of technical talent.
  • Conduct 30-day check-ins with new hires in your assigned business lines to gather feedback and continuously improve the hiring experience.
  • Maintain and strengthen FMX's employer brand within the technical talent community, including recruiting events, networking, and LinkedIn content aimed at attracting technical talent.
  • Ensure a thoughtful, timely, and positive candidate experience throughout every stage of the hiring process.
  • Support compensation conversations by sharing salary, bonus, and benefits information and researching technical talent market trends.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data and optimize workflows within our applicant tracking system.
  • Explore and implement new recruiting tools, including AI-powered solutions, to improve sourcing, efficiency, and the candidate experience.
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes by partnering with hiring managers, promoting structured and inclusive interviewing practices, and staying current on technical recruiting best practices.

Requirements

Preferred Experience & Qualities:

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical hiring (Engineering, Product, and/or Product Design).
  • Experience recruiting in a SaaS or other fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to become a subject matter expert on the technical roles you recruit for, including understanding of technical skill sets, career levels, and hiring trends.
  • Strong sourcing skills with proven experience engaging passive candidates and building long-term talent pipelines for hard-to-fill or niche roles.
  • Experience partnering with technical hiring managers to define hiring needs and guide the interview and selection process.
  • Confident communicator with strong offer and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) and leveraging recruiting data to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for using new tools, including AI, to improve recruiting processes and efficiency.
  • Interest in recruitment branding, including networking events, recruiting events, and creating content to attract technical talent.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and able to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying current on technical recruiting best practices.
  • Alignment with FMX's core values: Teamwork, Excellence, and Integrity.
