The Technical Project Manager (TPM) – Managed Security Services (MSS) is responsible for leading and delivering client onboarding cybersecurity projects and internal initiatives. This role supports the MSS practice by managing end-to-end project execution from contract signature through transition to operations. The TPM ensures project success through effective planning, stakeholder communication, and resolution of technical and organizational challenges. Working closely with clients, internal delivery teams, and subject matter experts, the TPM ensures alignment of project goals with cybersecurity requirements, delivering high-quality results that meet customer expectations, comply with industry standards, and maintain profitability.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Lead and manage multiple client onboarding and internal MSS projects from initiation through completion.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Identify and document project requirements; develop detailed project plans with schedules, tasks, resources, and milestones.

  • Proactively manage project scope, risks, and issues; ensure resolution and escalate when necessary.

  • Assemble appropriate technical resources to address blockers and ensure timely project delivery.

  • Monitor project performance, generate status reports, and track key performance metrics.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across engineering, operations, and customer support.

  • Maintain communication plans and conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders.

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, consistent service offerings aligned with MSS standards.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the project management lifecycle.

  • Support contract and compliance alignment with frameworks such as NERC, FERC, PCI, SOX, ISO, ITIL, and COBIT.

  • Facilitate successful transition of clients from onboarding to steady-state operations.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. required

  • 2-4 years technical project management experience required

  • 2-4 years experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or consulting environment preferred

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification-IASSC preferred

  • Certified Scrum Master preferred

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, risk management, and contract governance.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies such as MDR, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and implementation processes.

  • Proficiency with ServiceNow and project tracking tools.

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and complex technical deliverables.
