OUR MISSION

The peaceful use of space is essential for continued prosperity on Earth—from communications and finance to navigation and logistics. True Anomaly builds innovative technology at the intersection of spacecraft, software, and AI to enhance the capabilities of the U.S., its allies, and commercial partners. We safeguard global security by ensuring space access and sustainability for all.

OUR VALUES

  • Be the offset. We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity
  • What would it take? We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results
  • It’s the people. Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together

YOUR MISSION

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong software development background and a passion for building mission-critical systems to support SaaS development execution activities. You will serve as the owner of program execution—driving clarity, alignment, predictability, and accountability across engineering, product, operations, security, and government stakeholders.

In this role, you will ensure the successful delivery of complex, secure, and regulated software products by building structure where needed, managing risk proactively, and leading programs through ambiguity. You will operate at the intersection of technical execution and program leadership, maintaining authority over delivery plans, escalation paths, and cross-functional dependencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop dashboards and data visualizations to understand development timelines, efficiency and pace using PowerBI.
  • Support the end-to-end planning and work tracking of Mosaic, our software product, for defense and government customers.
  • Work directly with the product team, supporting their efforts.
  • Support program execution: define delivery plans, manage scope and milestones, and drive accountability across engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as the primary delivery interface with internal teams and external stakeholders, including defense primes, government PMs, and contracting authorities.
  • Track program performance using execution metrics (velocity, predictability, defect trends, release readiness) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Thrive in a high-ambiguity, fast-paced environment, creating structure, clarity, and alignment where needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with PowerBI or other Business Intelligence tools
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other software tracking tools
  • 0-2 years of experience in software engineering, Business Intelligence or related technical leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban processes and software lifecycle management.
  • Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical partners, including government stakeholders.
  • U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Background in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
  • Proven track record leading execution of complex SaaS or mission-critical systems; experience with defense, aerospace, or dual-use technology strongly preferred.
  • Technical understanding of distributed systems, cloud architectures, APIs, and secure software development practices

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: Denver: $65,000 - $90,000 | Long Beach: $70,000 - $95,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Location—Successful candidates will be located near Long Beach or Denver. This role requires four days a week onsite with one day remote.
  • Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.
  • Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.

This position will be open until it is successfully filled. To submit your application, please follow the directions below.
