About Midnight:

IOG's Midnight Tribe is a business technology provider and core contributor to the Midnight Network, a blockchain platform for developing decentralized applications that safeguard personal and commercial data. The Midnight Network is the first blockchain to offer programmable data isolation by leveraging zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs to enable selective disclosure of what information is visible on-chain and is designed to help developers implement necessary business policies, such as meeting regulatory requirements.

What the role involves:

We are looking for a talented Technical Program Manager to join our team and help shape the future of Midnight’s products and technology. As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering high-impact technical programs that advance our blockchain technology. Reporting to the Technical Program Manager Lead , you will take ownership of a portfolio of strategic programs, ensuring seamless coordination and driving cross-functional collaboration across teams. If you are a results-oriented leader with a strong track record in managing complex technical programs, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Midnight's growth and success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive program roadmaps, detailing timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee and manage multiple, complex technical programs, including risk management, coordination of major releases, and engagement with third-party stakeholders.
  • Drive collaboration across agile, cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with ongoing and future development initiatives.
  • Partner with Product Owners, and senior engineering leads to align program objectives with overarching business goals and strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, particularly with Marketing and other critical departments, to incorporate their requirements into program planning and execution.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of potential program risks.
  • Utilize advanced systems, tools, and techniques to measure and optimize program performance, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
  • Proactively report on program progress, performance, and issues, providing timely escalations and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive program documentation, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and alignment with best practices.
Requirements

Who you are:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Technical Program Manager with a successful track record in overseeing and delivering on time and with quality, complex, geographically distributed, large-scale technical programs.
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies, principles, and practices, with a demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Significant experience in coordinating and managing projects delivered by third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with program goals and standards.
  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced systems, tools, and techniques for measuring and optimizing program performance.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to report on program progress, escalate issues, and convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • A proactive approach to risk management, including the identification, assessment, and implementation of mitigation strategies.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to create and maintain comprehensive program documentation.
  • Proficiency in utilizing project management tools and agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in agile software development environments; experience with blockchain projects is highly desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Previous experience fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Benefits

The base salary for this position has a range of $150k - $175k per year at the commencement of employment. Any offer is determined by overall experience and performance during the interview process. This is only part of the total compensation package.
