We are looking for a pragmatic Technical Program Manager to own technical rollouts across our retail partner portfolio, scaling deployments from pilot to hundreds of stores. You will manage deployment plans end-to-end, coordinating hardware, firmware, CV pipelines, file deliverables, and store logistics.
You don't need to write code, but you must understand system architecture (front-end, back-end, and CV) well enough to evaluate design trade-offs, earn engineering trust, and give customers a clear view into complex rollouts.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn Partner Deployments: Lead the technical plan to scale spatial AI from to rollouts of hundreds of stores per partner. Manage end-to-end logistics across hardware, firmware, software deliverables, and on-site setup.
Own the Plan: Author and maintain the single technical plan per program - spanning CV, hardware, and software - as the source of truth for milestones, status, and dependencies.
Drive Repeatable Rigor: Break complex rollouts into actionable, metric-tracked steps with clear cadence, clear owners, and clear status - measuring quality of what ships (detection performance, data integrity) alongside speed. Codify what works into standardized templates so the next partner rollout is rinse-and-repeat.
System Architecture Fluency: Participate in design and architecture trade-off discussions across CV, front-end, and back-end systems. Identify over-engineered or under-thought solutions.
Flex Where Needed: Adapt quickly to fill operational gaps across engineering, product, ops, and customer success.
Experience: 3–5 years managing technical programs, software-hardware deployments, or complex rollouts. Experience running metrics-driven program cadences (weekly business reviews, clear tracking) is a major plus.
Architectural Depth: Strong grasp of system design (front-end, back-end, cloud, and computer vision concepts) to evaluate trade-offs without writing code.
Pragmatic Execution: Proven ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured, step-by-step technical plans.
Field & Client Savvy: Comfortable coordinating physical hardware/firmware hand-offs, on-site logistics, and store-level execution with retail partners.
Technical Translation: Strong capacity to translate technical discussions for non-technical customers using plain language on trade-offs and risk, without losing precision.
