The Technical Program Manager works closely with worldwide Verification & Validation engineering leadership, SoC TPMs, and cross-functional partners to help maintain execution visibility and alignment across programs. The role acts as a day-to-day execution and organization partner, ensuring verification and validation activities are well tracked, issues are surfaced early, and information flows clearly to leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Support design verification and pre-silicon validation execution across multiple SoC programs through strong program management fundamentals
- Assist worldwide VnV leadership by providing organized execution visibility, consolidated status, and risk tracking across programs
- Maintain and update verification and validation schedules, trackers, and dashboards, using tools such as Microsoft Project and shared tracking systems
- Track verification and validation deliverables, achievements, dependencies, and resource commitments, raising issues as needed
- Coordinate with VnV functional teams to ensure agreed verification and validation flows are followed
- Support pre-silicon validation activities, including:
- Tracking availability and readiness of emulation and FPGA platforms
- Coordinating generation and availability of models used for software, performance, and power validation
- Collect, organize, and report verification and validation metrics, and help validate that execution data is accurate, consistent, and reflects actual program health
- Prepare clear, concise status updates and materials for leadership reviews and check-ins
- Communicate clear asks, priorities, and follow-ups to functional teams to support execution and unblock issues
- Partner with RTL TPMs, SoC TPMs, and other functional TPMs to support alignment on achievements, handoffs, and dependencies
- Organize and maintain clean, well-structured program documentation and repositories
- Support follow-up and closure of open actions, risks, and issues across verification and validation activities
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in program coordination, project management, or early-career technical program management roles
- Proficiency in Data Analysis tools and ability to distill data and streamlining processes with the goal of preventing operational issues
- Solid program management fundamentals, including planning support, tracking, reporting, and follow-through
- Proficiency with program management tools, such as Microsoft Project, trackers, and shared dashboards
- Familiarity with SoC verification and validation flows, including pre-silicon validation concepts (emulation, FPGA, models)
- Ability to understand execution data well enough to sanity-check metrics and status
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to:
- Provide concise, accurate updates upward
- Communicate clear needs and follow-ups to functional teams
- Ability to operate effectively in a supporting role within a matrixed, global organization
