Job Summary
The Senior Technical Project Manager (TPM 5) will support the Comcast Cyber Security Ops and Cyber Fraud teams. In this role, you’ll be a strategic partner driving planning, execution, and continuous improvement through standardized tools, processes, and the SDLC operating model.
You’ll work cross-functionally to align roadmaps, improve processes, and ensure high-quality delivery. You’ll play a key role in curating and analyzing metrics, leading roadmap execution, driving operational efficiency, and enhancing communication across stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership. Your work will directly contribute to delivering high-impact cyber fraud solutions and achieving team goals— Protecting our customers, operational excellence, and tool and process improvements.
Job knowledge, skills and abilities:
Technical Acumen: have a strong grasp of technical aspects related to the project, including software development. Troubleshooting and technologies being used and have experience with writing technical requirement documentation.
CyberFraud Knowledge: Understanding of cyber fraud, including common attack vectors, prevention techniques, and mitigation strategies.
Project Lifecycle Mastery: Understanding and managing the entire project lifecycle, including methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members and stakeholders. This includes active listening, written communication, and public speaking.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Identifying issues, analyzing problems, and making informed decisions to keep the project or program on track.
Risk Management: Identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and managing risks throughout the project
Adaptability and Flexibility: Being able to adapt to changing project requirements and environments
Core Responsibilities
- Understands the scope of technical programs as defined by the product and business requirements and the budget process. Participates in the key planning of milestones. Uses specific knowledge about one or more technical areas to research, plan, communicate and achieve objectives through program/project team.
- Identifies, confirms and obtains participation from required cross-functional teams. Ensures team clearly understands roles and responsibilities for the duration of the program.
- Creates and builds program plans and program record. Works with the core team to identify and schedule all the work required to fulfill program scope, including identification and management of critical path tasks. Identifies and manages program critical paths.
- Identifies goals and successes criteria, drives the development and implementation of key goals, objectives and successes criteria for the program with key stakeholders and core team. Raises conflicts and resolves with the appropriate level of management engagement to build consensus. Obtains and assigns resources to the program plan. Recommends changes to improve the engineering process and to alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication.
- Determines the cost and budget; performs resource forecasting.
- Analyzes areas of risk to avoid risky activities by identifying and managing critical paths and risk areas. Establishes contingency plans and identifies trigger events and assumes responsibility for initiation corrective actions.
- Communicates updates on major milestones and keeps all stakeholders informed of progress and issues. Identifies and manages proposed changes to program parameters and works with managers to ensure appropriate processes and communications are followed. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Contributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives.
- Monitors and ensures quality of program deliverables. Leads core technical team and key field resources to develop and monitor deployment schedule, strategies and tools to support the implementation of programs in the field through trials and controlled customer deployments.
- Consistent exercise of independent and collaborative judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field.
Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience in technical program management, ops or related roles.
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an agile environment supporting an engineering focused organization.
Experience running agile/scrum ceremonies.
Must have strong communication skills and a demonstrable ability to speak, listen, and write in a clear, thorough, and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
Experience developing comprehensive project plans supporting technically focused projects and/or software development deliverables.
Proven track record of strong organizational skills. Ability to set priorities, track work, and be transparent.
Must have experience pulling and analyzing data to inform an approach or decision. Especially in Jira, Excel, and databases.
Ability to explore innovative ways to address operational or organizational pain points.
Technical Skills: Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and system architecture. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools: ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Power BI, Confluence and JIRA.

This job can be performed in Denver Campus with a Pay Range of $145,288.06 - $217,932.09Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
