Precisely is an AI-first organization. All employees are expected to demonstrate proficiency in applying AI tools to accelerate their work, improve output quality, and eliminate low-value tasks. Candidates should be comfortable using generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) in their day-to-day workflows, able to evaluate AI-generated outputs critically, and open to continuously adopting new AI capabilities as they emerge.

Overview:

As a Technical Product Marketing Manager, you will help developers, architects, data practitioners, evaluators and teams building AI-powered applications, agents, and automations understand, evaluate, and adopt Precisely technology. Sitting at the intersection of Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales Engineering, you will translate complex technologies into compelling technical content, demonstrations, and experiences that support product adoption and go-to-market success.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both technology and customers. Successful Technical Product Marketing Managers are comfortable learning complex technologies, collaborating with engineers and product managers, creating technical content, and helping customers understand how products solve real business problems. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to communicate technical value to various audiences.
As an individual contributor, you will develop deep expertise in your assigned products or solutions while building the technical marketing skills needed to grow into broader ownership and leadership opportunities.

What you will do:

  • Work collaboratively with Product Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Engineering, and Sales Engineers to create technical messaging that helps practitioners understand product capabilities and architecture.
  • Partner with Product Marketing Managers to ensure technical messaging accurately supports market positioning.
  • Develop content for developers, data practitioners, technical evaluators, teams building AI-powered applications, agents, and automations, such as demonstrations, solutions guides, presentations, videos, and blogs for assigned products.
  • Support product launches by preparing demonstrations, technical marketing assets, and evaluation material.
  • Deliver material that supports customer meetings, webinars, conferences, industry events, and other technical engagements.
  • Produce technical enablement materials for Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and partners.
  • Contribute to developer experiences including developer portals, product led growth motions, and ecosystem integrations.
  • Develop deep technical expertise in assigned products and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with team members across Marketing to develop the tools and processes that allow us to run on AI as an organization.

What we are looking for:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. (Equivalent work experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement.)
  • 3-6 years of experience in Technical Product Marketing, Product Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Product Management, Developer Relations, or a related technical go-to-market role.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and business audiences.
  • Experience developing technical presentations, demonstrations, technical marketing content, and enablement materials.
  • Able to translate credibility with technical audiences—developers, architects, data practitioners—into positioning, messaging, and content that resonates directly with them.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise software, cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, data management, AI, or related technologies with the ability to explain technical concepts, particularly AI concepts, in a clear and credible way.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Product Management, Engineering, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing organizations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while working collaboratively across functional teams.
  • Travel is required: Yes - Approximately 10-15%

AI Skills/Knowledge:

  • Understanding of AI concepts, technologies, and current trends, with the ability to communicate technical capabilities and business value to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to explain AI use cases, implementation approaches, and practical business applications to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, content creation, research, analysis, and workflow efficiency.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and recommendations, applying sound judgment regarding accuracy, relevance, security, governance, and business impact.

Preferred Skills:                                                                                         

  • Experience marketing enterprise SaaS, data management, data integration, data quality, data governance, location intelligence, or adjacent data platform technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake or Databricks.
  • Background in Product Management, Solutions Engineering, Presales, or other customer-facing technical role.
  • Familiarity with developer ecosystems, APIs, SDKs, open standards, or technical community engagement.
  • Hands-on experience configuring software, building integrations, scripting, or working in technical environments.
  • Experience creating or supporting demonstrations or technical evaluation experiences.
  • Experience presenting to customers, partners, webinars, user groups, or industry events.
