RBP Ops is the internal platform team and set of processes that power enrollment and billing for our Resident Benefits. The Technical PM owns the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for how Resident Benefits Package (RBP) enrollment data is managed and used across Second Nature’s systems.
This role, reporting to a Group Product Manager, sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and operations to ensure accurate enrollment, seamless fulfillment, and reliable billing for resident benefits. Success means high-quality data, resilient integrations, and a smooth experience for internal teams, property managers, and residents.
Expected OutcomesMaintain Data Integrity: Ensure enrollment and billing data remains accurate, consistent, and reliable across platforms.
Deliver a Service Layer: Build a robust service layer that provides fast, dependable access to enrollment data, powering user experiences for property managers and residents.
Improve Observability: Drive data quality practices so the business can detect, diagnose, and resolve enrollment issues proactively using real-time data observability.
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for RBP Ops, aligned with company and customer goals.
Manage the backlog and prioritize platform investments by rigorously balancing business impact, customer value, and return on engineering effort.
Identify opportunities to automate manual operational workflows, standardize processes, and improve the overall scalability and maintainability of the platform.
Data Entity & Architecture (Core Technical Ownership)
Design and evolve capabilities for entity resolution and ID unification so that units, residents, properties, and accounts are consistently represented across all systems
Own how enrollment, billing, and customer identifiers are mapped, normalized, and ingested from multiple upstream systems, including defining data contracts and transformation rules.
Partner with engineering to deliver intelligent data stitching and accessibility, making it easy for downstream teams and services to retrieve a complete, trustworthy view of residents and properties.
Execution & Lifecycle Management
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of integrations and core RBP Ops capabilities—from discovery and scoping through development, rollout, and iteration.
Work closely with internal stakeholders (operations, engineering, customer success, partnerships, finance, and others) to understand workflows, integration needs, and data dependencies and translate into requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Metrics
Monitor and report key health metrics for integrations and enrollment data (e.g., data quality, latency, error rates, usage, and user satisfaction).
4+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS or PropTech.
Experience with API design, data integrations, entity resolution, ID unification, or identity graph–like problems (e.g., matching and deduplicating records across multiple systems).
Experience designing or working with ETL and bi-directional data sync patterns between SaaS platforms, internal services, and customer systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; converting ambiguity into clear action while protecting quality.
Bring a decisive, “First Principles” mindset proactively unblocking teams and driving outcomes while collaborating closely with partners.
Ability to communicate crisply across functions (engineering, partnerships, customer success) and align stakeholders quickly.

Remote Work Statement
This is a remote-first, work-from-home position with required bi-annual in-person company meetings in January and July (business travel covered by Second Nature). You must be available during scheduled working hours, with a distraction-free work environment and reliable high-speed internet.

Anticipated base salary for this role is between $150 and $170K, depending on experience, location, and budget. We also provide health benefits; a 401K program with a $500 annual match; an open PTO program plus holidays; 2 annual in-person company events; laptop and hardware; a remote environment; amazing culture; and more.
