We are looking for an experienced and innovative Azure Technical Architect for our Denver branch to design and deliver Microsoft Azure deployments based on customer requirements and best practices! Your experience in architecture, design, and implementation of the Microsoft technology stack will ensure you’re successful in this role. Taking an Agile approach, you will be given the opportunity to deepen your knowledge base and expand your skills while delivering world class solutions to our clients.

A Day in the Life:

  • Designing, architecting and implementing industry leading cloud and Azure technical solutions by understanding client requirements through your savvy consulting skills, both business and technical
  • Creating detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information
  • Working as a subject matter expert to deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation
  • Managing different Cloud platforms including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and various environments including public, private, and hybrid
  • Designing, implementing and supporting networking, virtualization, Windows, and storage and backup solutions
  • Working with Entra AD, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Office 365 as needed
  • Automating Azure tasks using PowerShell
  • Moving or expanding Entra AD from on premise to Azure
  • Migrating workloads to Azure
  • Assessing client’s environment for migration to Azure
  • Working with other Long View business units and practices to ensure projects progress efficiently and in a timely fashion towards successful closure
  • Keeping abreast of relevant industry certifications and accreditations as aligned with key practices and technology partners
  • Attending and representing Long View at the latest industry events

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of industry experience working as a subject matter expert in the Microsoft technology stack
  • 3+ years of experience advising on, managing and/or successfully delivering cloud solutions, specifically Azure (IaaS, PaaS or SaaS) using Azure native or IaC.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft architecture and best practices
  • Self-motivation and a desire to be interactive and adaptable in a collaborative working environment
  • Ability to:
  • Grasp new technology concepts rapidly and assess their relevance for business needs
  • Effectively communicate to different audiences clearly and concisely in written, oral and various presentation formats
  • Manage multiple projects through to completion while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Strong consulting skills
