Position Overview
Infleqtion is poised for significant growth as we prepare for our transition to a publicly traded company. We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Technical Accounting Manager to join our accounting and finance organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Reporting, this individual will be a key player in building a world-class public company reporting infrastructure.
This is a unique opportunity to be a foundational member of our finance team, building the policies and infrastructure that will support our growth as a public entity. It's an opportunity to shape processes rather than just manage them. The ideal candidate will research, analyze, and document complex accounting issues and ensure new accounting standards are implemented effectively across the organization. This role will be a critical partner in our transition from a private to a public company.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and conclude on complex accounting issues in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance.
- Draft comprehensive technical accounting memos to document the Company’s positions on significant transactions and policies.
- Monitor and lead the implementation of new accounting standards from the FASB and SEC, including developing training materials and updating policies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to operationalize new accounting treatments and support business initiatives.
- Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements and related disclosures, with a focus on ensuring compliance with SEC reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors to support the audit process, providing technical analysis and documentation as needed.
- Assist with IPO readiness and SOX 404 compliance initiatives, including documenting internal controls.

This is a full-time, hybrid position in Louisville, CO.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license is required.
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a public accounting firm (e.g., Big 4).
- Demonstrated experience with SEC reporting, including Form 10-K and 10-Q preparation and related disclosure requirements.
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to draft clear, well-supported technical accounting memos.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Ability to communicate complex accounting concepts clearly and concisely to non-accounting stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Benefits
The targeted salary range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000 depending on experience, plus eligibility to participate in our annual incentive plan. In addition to your base compensation, we offer a generous Total Rewards program which includes:
