Job Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, S and C-corporations 

• Familiarity with Subchapter K rules

• Ability to identify and research common tax issues that arise in client engagements

• Identify key planning opportunities throughout the year and develop a framework for tax strategies that best align with client needs and goals

• Assist in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirements

• Support the partner team in the development and planning of practice strategy, objectives, and budgets

• Build on strong coaching skills to mentor key talent

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with the Financial Services industry supporting Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds, and Real Estate

• Minimum of 3 years of U.S. tax consulting/compliance experience in public accounting, preferably with partnerships and other entity types.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in supervising the work of others, including delegation, training and development of staff and interns

• CPA or equivalent credential preferred

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $86,640-$110,000. For New York residents, the compensation range for this position: $95,285-$129,800. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
