Job Responsibilities 

  • Assist partners on international clients with all facets of international tax consulting and compliance qualify control (QC)

  • Work directly with clients on international matters.

  • Performing international tax research and planning for clients of the firm;

  • Exposure to various international specialties in our industry, for example:

  • Foreign businesses expanding to the U.S

  • US businesses expanding internationally

  • Inbound real estate investments

  • Investment, Hedge, and PE fund structuring

  • Foreign “Voluntary Disclosure” projects

  • IP migration strategies

  • Expatriate and inpatriate tax planning

  • International tax compliance review for outbound and inbound clients and businesses

  • Foreign tax credit analysis and documentation FDII and GILTI planning

  • Value Added Tax and indirect tax

  • Crypto asset planning

  • Assist with business development/identify opportunities

  

Requirements 

  • BA/BS degree in accounting and/or Masters degree in taxation

  • CPA license or JD

  • Minimum 5 years recent US tax experience;

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting with a focus in International Tax

  • Minimum of 3 years of US tax consulting/compliance experience in public accounting

  • Experience with International Tax compliance including, but not limited to forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858 and 1118

  • Written tax advice for the client

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $139,700-$190,500. For Southern California, Washington, New York, and Illinois residents, the compensation range for this position: $132,100-$182,100. For Colorado residents, $121,500-$165,600. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
