Profile OverviewClient is seeking an experienced subject matter expert (SME) writer with a strong background in tax, accounting, finance, and business advisory services. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with exceptional writing skills and can translate complex accounting and tax concepts into engaging, publication-ready content.
Candidates should have experience writing for professional services organizations such as CPA firms, accounting and advisory practices, financial institutions, family offices, investment firms, or international tax consultancies. Ghostwriting experience for senior professionals is highly preferred.
Scope- Commitment: 20 hours per month
- Initial Engagement: 3-month contract
- Extension: Month-to-month based on performance and business needs
- Collaborate with partners and subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content.
- Write tax, accounting, and advisory articles for a broad business audience.
- Produce technical articles, industry insights, white papers, tax updates, and regulatory analysis.
- Research emerging tax developments, market trends, and business challenges.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and accurate content.
- Capture the voice of senior professionals for ghostwritten publications.
- Produce content suitable for websites, newsletters, media publications, and social media.
- Ensure all content meets high standards for technical accuracy, compliance, and professionalism.
- Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional credentials such as CPA, EA, ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent preferred.
- Demonstrated experience writing thought leadership, technical articles, white papers, or industry publications.
- Strong research, analytical, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial and tax concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience writing for professional services firms, accounting firms, financial institutions, or advisory organizations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
