Talent Specialist – Learning & Development


Position Summary

As a member of the Learning & Development team, the Talent Specialist L&D will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and continuously improving learning experiences that support employee growth and organizational capability. This role requires a proactive, creative, and collaborative professional who can anticipate learning needs, create engaging content, and ensure seamless delivery across various platforms and audiences.

Your Seat at the Table

  • Learning Content Creation
    • Design and develop engaging, learner-centered content for a variety of formats (eLearning, instructor-led training, microlearning, job aids, etc.).
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex information into accessible and impactful learning materials.
    • Ensure content aligns with adult learning principles, best practices, and organizational goals.
  • Learning Deployment & Facilitation
    • Facilitate live and virtual training sessions as needed.
    • Monitor participation, engagement, and completion rates to ensure learning effectiveness.
  • Learning Needs Analysis
    • Partner with business leaders and HR to identify current and future learning needs across departments.
    • Conduct skills gap analyses and recommend targeted learning interventions.
    • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to proactively address emerging talent development needs.
  • Measurement & Continuous Improvement
    • Evaluate learning program effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
    • Use data to refine content and delivery methods for continuous improvement.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports related to learning activities and outcomes.
  • Learning Management System Administration
    • Manage user accounts, security settings, system configurations, and oversee day-to-day operations. Configure courses, upload content, and manage assignments and learning paths within the system. 

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, or talent development.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms and eLearning tools
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for helping others grow and succeed.
