As the Talent Development Partner, you will lead the consultative intake process and ongoing alignment conversations with senior leaders and stakeholders to understand business needs, clarify desired outcomes, and shape the right learning solutions. You’ll design and deliver impactful learning and development programs—including leadership development—in collaboration with subject matter experts, Talent Development colleagues, and instructional designers. Your work will ensure development solutions are practical, relevant, and aligned to the real needs of the business.
As a people champion and data-driven advisor, you’ll oversee the end-to-end lifecycle for learning solutions within your designated areas of the business. This includes consultative intake, needs assessment, design, facilitation, and evaluation to identify gaps and deliver scalable, high-impact development experiences. You’ll manage multiple learning priorities, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and adapt solutions as business needs evolve.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as a consultative learning partner with subject matter experts, senior leaders, People Business Partners, and learning enablement teams to design and deliver learning solutions.
- Lead the consultative intake process to clarify needs, desired outcomes, and success measures.
- Partner closely with Instructional Designers to ensure learning solutions align to program goals and stakeholder needs.
- Conduct comprehensive needs analyses to identify development gaps and opportunities within your designated areas of the business.
- Translate business objectives and talent strategy into clear learning objectives and success outcomes.
- Assess existing learning materials and resources to determine their effectiveness and relevance.
- Design and develop learner-centered, engaging, and interactive learning experiences using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
- Create instructional content such as instructor-led training, virtual workshops, job aids, and assessments.
- Ensure learning materials are accessible, inclusive, and support diverse learning preferences.
- Facilitate professional development workshops and new-hire orientation sessions using instructor-led and virtual training methods.
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes skill acquisition and respects diverse learner needs.
- Communicate complex concepts with clarity, adapt your approach to different audiences, and ask thought-provoking questions that stimulate critical thinking.
- Measure program effectiveness through evaluation methods, feedback, and business insights; make adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Manage the full project lifecycle for learning and development initiatives, from scoping and planning through launch and evaluation.
- Develop clear project plans, timelines, and milestones, and ensure alignment across SMEs, instructional designers, and cross-functional partners.
- Proactively identify and address project risks, design gaps, and operational challenges.
- Communicate progress, decisions, and blockers to stakeholders with clarity.
- Operate in a fast-paced, agile environment to deliver timely, high-quality, client-ready deliverables.
- Identify and leverage GenAI tools to strategically accelerate outcomes.
- Stay current on instructional design trends, facilitation methodologies, and emerging technologies.
- Utilize virtual collaboration tools, polling/feedback platforms, digital whiteboards, and other facilitation technologies.
- Use modern authoring and multimedia tools to create engaging content as needed.
- Partner with the Senior LMS Administrator to deploy learning solutions in Cornerstone, including uploading SCORM packages and setting up training sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Education, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in Learning and Development, including both instructional design and facilitation.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of facilitation methodologies.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning content development, and how to partner with Instructional Designers effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize tasks, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn the business quickly and build credibility with senior leaders by understanding organizational goals, operational realities, and the “AHEAD way” of working.
- Continuous learning mindset and ability to stay current on emerging technologies and trends.

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
