Major Responsibilities:
- Leads the enterprise-wide redesign of the Talent Acquisition experience, applying UX/UI principles to create seamless, intuitive, and equitable journeys for candidates, internal teammates, hiring leaders, and recruiters.
- Oversees user research, persona development, and journey mapping to ensure solutions are grounded in real user needs and aligned with enterprise hiring goals.
- Serves as the design authority across the full TA lifecycle—guiding interface design, content strategy, and interaction flows in collaboration with technology and product partners.
- Leads the RFP process for next-generation TA tools and platforms, including requirements gathering, demo coordination, stakeholder alignment, and final vendor selection.
- Evaluates and selects external partners and vendors based on experience design capabilities, platform scalability, and ability to deliver frictionless, human-centered solutions.
- Partners with legal, procurement, and HRIS to ensure a seamless and compliant implementation of selected experience platforms or design solutions.
- Defines success metrics and experience KPIs to evaluate the impact of new TA systems, tools, and processes on internal and external user satisfaction.
- Champions a design thinking mindset across the Talent Acquisition function, enabling teams to prototype, test, and scale innovative hiring experiences.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- None
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in human-Centered Design, Human Resources, Business, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant experience.
Experience Required:
- 8–10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Employee Experience, or Human-Centered Design roles within a large, complex organization.
- 5+ years leading UX/UI design, service design, or experience strategy initiatives across enterprise functions—preferably within HR or recruiting ecosystems.
- Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end design and implementation of candidate, recruiter, or employee-facing platforms and tools.
- Proven success leading RFPs, vendor demos, selection processes, and platform implementation for enterprise software or experience redesign projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance enterprise goals, user needs, and operational realities.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and facilitate alignment across HR, IT, Communications, and external vendors.
- Experience building and leading cross-functional project teams in fast-paced or matrixed environments.
- Strong project management, change management, and communication skills.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Deep expertise in human-centered design methodologies (design thinking, journey mapping, personas, prototyping).
- Working knowledge of UX/UI design tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Adobe XD) and experience collaborating with product, engineering, or HRIS teams.
- Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition technology landscape, including ATS, CRM, internal mobility platforms, and candidate-facing tools.
- Ability to translate research insights into scalable design solutions that improve usability, accessibility, and experience equity.
