This position may be filled in a hybrid or remote capacity, in our Austin, Dallas, Houston, Jefferson City, Kansas City, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Nashville, Omaha, Springfield, or St. Louis locations.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support the Talent Acquisition team with the Business Professional recruitment and hiring process. This includes effectively coordinating various recruiting steps and ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders. This role also involves tracking recruitment metrics and analyzing data to inform decision-making. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and play a crucial role in attracting and assessing top talent to support the organization's goals and objectives. Essential job functions include:
- Prepares and posts non-attorney Business Professional job openings; places advertisements in appropriate media including internal and external platforms.
- Ensures accuracy and consistency in job descriptions and postings.
- Schedules and coordinates interviews (phone, virtual, and in-person) between candidates, Talent Acquisition team, and hiring managers/teams.
- Communicates interview details to both candidates and interviewers.
- Sends appropriate pre-interview application materials.
- Administers skills testing, video interviews, and other related employment systems as needed.
- Maintains and updates the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate data and status updates.
- Coordinates the due diligence process for selected candidates including checking references, facilitating conflicts checks, employment verifications, and criminal background checks.
- Collaborates with Talent Acquisition team members to ensure that the Onboarding team has all necessary information to onboard new hires.
- Maintains new hire files within the document management system.
- Compiles recruitment data to track key metrics such as time-to-fill and hire source.
- Drafts correspondence related to Business Professional recruiting under the guidance of the Talent Acquisition team.
- Maintains working knowledge of UKG, DocuSign, eSkill, Spark Hire, and related systems to support Business Professional recruiting.
- Ensures compliance with legal requirements and company policies by maintaining accurate records and documentation related to recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate evaluations, and due diligence materials.
- Participates in regular meetings or discussions to share feedback and suggestions for improving processes and procedures.
- Stays updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Assists or completes projects as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager or Director – Talent Acquisition.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; 2‐year degree in HR or related field preferred; or combination of education and commensurate work experience required.
- 1-3 years of relevant Human Resources experience, preferably in a legal or other professional services environment.
- Advanced understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor), preferred.
- Understanding of HR, policies, practices, and procedures.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external parties.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation ranges for this position in the State of Minnesota is $52,000 - $77,000.
This salary range does not include a discretionary bonus, however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
