In this role, you’ll partner closely with our recruiters and HR leaders to support end-to-end recruitment efforts for both W-2 and 1099 consultant roles across functional areas. From sourcing passive talent and maintaining clean, actionable data in our ATS to scheduling interviews and crafting compelling job postings, your attention to detail and candidate-centric approach will ensure a smooth and thoughtful hiring experience.

The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, has a strong sense of urgency, and takes pride in bringing order to complexity. You're not just filling roles — you're helping build a network of experts who enable our clients’ success. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow their career in talent acquisition, employer branding, or recruiting operations while supporting a meaningful mission in higher education.

Essential Job Duties

  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data within our ATS (Lever) and sourcing tools to support data integrity and tracking.
  • Support recruiting efforts by proactively sourcing professionals via job boards, LinkedIn, referral networks, higher education associations (ie: Educause, NASPA, NACUBO, CUPA-HR, CASE, etc), and targeted outreach.
  • Utilize software solutions to organize candidate pipelines, track and analyze market and competitor trends, and generate basic reports.
  • Track, analyze, and refine sourcing strategies, pipeline metrics, and test new tools or platforms.
  • Coordinate the execution of recruiting campaigns (e.g., Talent Community hiring pushes, social media blasts).
  • Assist with initial outreach to candidates and scheduling, and conducting exploratory calls

  • Recruiting Operations & Projects
  • Manage incoming applicants and screen resumes to identify strong matches for open roles.
  • Assist with candidate screening interviews and supporting timely, engaging communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Post and update job listings across key platforms, as needed.

  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the broader HR and Talent team on recruitment-related projects and process improvements.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives, training programs, and methodology updates
  • Participate in company-wide meetings, learning sessions, and culture and team building efforts.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Strong intellectual curiosity. You’re eager to learn, ask questions, and deepen your understanding of talent markets, roles, and business context.
  • Creative and solutions-oriented mindset. You approach challenges thoughtfully and proactively, looking for ways to improve outcomes and think beyond the obvious.
  • Naturally proactive, quality-driven and with an ownership mentality
  • Ability to gather and analyze data to inform sourcing strategies and candidate engagement
  • Excellent communication and cross functional skills - you know how to tailor messaging to audiences
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to changing business needs
  • Ability to quickly learn, adapt to, and troubleshoot technology and software
  • Ability to travel up to 10% expected

Minimum Qualifications
