The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer who is passionate about working closely with customers to solve difficult mission critical challenges delivering complex hardware and software systems. In this important role, you will provide technical oversight for the lifecycle of projects including concepts, requirements, design, integration, and verification. As technical knowledge and organizational understanding increases, you will lead projects through the lifecycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and mission success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction and coordination across multi-disciplinary development teams
  • Decomposing system requirements and collaborating with multi-disciplined, distributed teams to generate efficient and scalable solutions
  • Performing requirements management including requirements creation, tracking, flow down, coverage, verification tracking, compliance matrices, etc.
  • Work with others to develop test procedures to formally verify system requirements for sell off events
  • Supporting the development, implementation, and verification of mission capabilities
  • Participating in the development and execution of program milestone events such as Customer meetings, internal and formal Government testing events, and discrepancy report (DR) review boards
  • Lead testing events of software solutions and generating test result documentation
  • Generate technical baseline artifacts
  • Identify technical risk and participate in risk analysis and mitigation

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or related engineering field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience working in software development, RF/electrical engineering or systems engineering
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Effective cross-organizational communicator with the ability to work well in a small team, fast paced environment
  • Ability to develop requirements
  • Ability to develop test procedures that verify requirements
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Work closely with other team members
  • Passionate about fostering good engineering practices and processes. Willingness to learn new technology and approaches.
  • Understanding of testing principles and design for test capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with an eye for detail and thoroughness

Desired:

  • Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Experience with telemetry and satellite communications
  • MBSE modeling
  • Experience with the Cameo systems toolset
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to balance technical requirements with business needs
  • Experience with Gitlab
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite
  • Understanding and experience with computer networking

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$69,100-$141,500
