Job Description
The Systems Engineer role is responsible for the contribution of Digital and Systems Engineering processes, systems architecture, and digital engineering activities across the T-6A Avionics Replacement Program (ARP). This position will perform digital and systems engineering activities in support of the primary flight and secondary avionics architecture upgrades for a fleet of 440 T-6A Texan II aircraft. As the U.S. Air Force's primary flight trainer, the T-6A is critical to developing basic flying skills for Joint Primary Pilot Training students across the Air Force and Navy. Prospects are expected to gain an understanding of the full systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, functional analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline in systems engineering with 2 years of experience
  • Familiarity with systems engineering principles
  • Familiarity with Cameo Systems Modeler and MagicDraw

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with aircraft or avionics systems.
  • Familiarity with the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process
  • Certification in systems engineering, such as CSEP or OCSMP-MBF
