Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Systems Engineer – Level 4 to support a program out of our Aurora, CO location.
Position Overview:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, test, installation, operation, and maintenance. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience, a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of relevant experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of application
- Experience with requirements development, mapping, decomposition, software verification, and generating system and segment level test procedures.
- General knowledge of ground segment architecture
- Experience using Jira and Agile processes during day-to-day work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using MBSE & Cameo
- Data Analysis & RF Mission processing
