How You'll Make an Impact
- Design, implement, integrate, configure, troubleshoot, and support 5G HMNO systems across Core, RAN, and Spectrum Mobile environments
- Lead deployment activities including configuration, validation, and integration of network elements
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues
- Support day to day operations including incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration
- Analyze and optimize system performance, capacity, and reliability to meet service level objectives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures
- Provide technical guidance and support to regional and cross functional teams
- Participate in on call rotation to ensure continuous support for critical wireless infrastructure
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulatory requirements
Working Conditions
- Hybrid office environment with after hours support as part of on call rotation

- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to use personal computer and software applications Systems knowledge (Linux, Unix) Infrastructure knowledge (Raw Iron, Steel Cloud, ElasticCloud, OpenStack, AWS)
- Ability to work in a team environment In-depth knowledge in areas of specialty for specific applications, and general knowledge of supporting or integrating applications creating platform ecosystems.
- Basic Knowledge in TCP/IP and the OSI Model Expert knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations.
- Expert knowledge of software designing software, such as Visio
- Ability to perform duties in a very fast pace environment and ability to learn new technology quickly
- Ability to use the following office equipment telephone, copier, fax, and calculator
- Ability to use personal computer and software applications Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- General knowledge of OSI stack and application architectures
Education - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience; May require Industry Standard Certifications
Experience
- 6+ System or Server Administration
- 5+ years of experience in wireless network engineering or telecommunications
- Hands-on experience with 5G technologies, including Core and/or RAN environments
- Experience supporting production network environments from deployment through operations
Skills
- Strong understanding of 5G architecture including Core (AMF, SMF, UPF) and RAN components
- Knowledge of wireless technologies including LTE, 5G NR, and CBRS
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, OSI model)
- Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis tools
- Demonstrable ability to perform incident management support and detemine root cause analysis
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and operational workflows
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across teams
- Proficiency with standard engineering tools and documentation platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Education / Certifications
- Industry certifications (e.g., 5G, Cisco, Nokia, Ericsson, AWS, or equivalent)
Skills - Experience with HMNO environments or large-scale mobile network operators
- Knowledge of automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud-native 5G Core architectures and virtualization technologies
- Understanding of Spectrum Mobile products and services
