Manage, deploy, troubleshoot, and support Windows Server and Citrix environments for managed-service customers. Act as first responder for OS incidents, handle ticket queue and escalations, document resolutions, participate in on-call rotation, and support projects to expand and improve services.

This position is for a full-time Operating System Engineer for environments composed of Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025) as well as various Citrix platform versions. This position will be part of the Windows OS team to design, implement, manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support managed service customer environments. This position will require you to have a solid understanding of Microsoft & Citrix products and the implementation of those products in a best practice manner (SQL, IIS, ADDS, Citrix). You will also be an escalation point for support requests.
Responsibilities:
- First responder for the OS team, doing preliminary trouble shooting
- Ticket Queue Management
- Documenting steps taken and relevant histories
- Assisting in escalated incidents within the ticketing system, and providing resolution to issues and documenting solutions within ticketing system
- Participate in weekly on-call rotation with other team members.
- Other duties as required
- Expand and improve of existing services
- Consult and advise on internal and customer environments
- Maintain, migrate, deploy, configure, troubleshoot advanced environment OS configurations

Experience:
- Work experience of 3-5 years with a proven skill set across various Microsoft server platforms/integrations.
- Proven ability to communicate at multiple levels of a mid-size to enterprise-level organization.
- Citrix administration experience (VDA, Storefront, Delivery Controllers).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 platforms.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory (Design, Migration, Troubleshooting, Configurations).
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server.
- Experience supporting environments running on VMware ESXi , Azure, AWS.
- Solid troubleshooting methodology.
- Basic knowledge of DNS, Ports, Windows Firewall.
- Experience leveraging RMM tools, HCL BigFix (or experience in SolarWinds N-able, ConnectWise Automate)
- Advanced experience supporting/implementing complex Windows/Citrix environments is a plus.
- Windows Server Certifications (MCITP, MCP).
- Management of Windows instances/services on various platforms.
- Netscaler experience.
- Experience navigating monitoring tool platforms such as Solarwinds, ScienceLogic, Zabbix, etc.
