Job Description
This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month.
Position Summary:The Systems Analyst supports the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise systems. This role is ideal for a technically inclined professional looking to grow their expertise in system operations, automation, and IT infrastructure within a collaborative team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Enterprise Systems Support: Assist with the configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Exchange and ProofPoint systems.
- Automation & Scripting: Basic PowerShell scripting for routine administrative tasks.
- Monitoring & Alerts: Use tools like Datadog and Splunk to monitor system health and escalate issues.
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic networking concepts
- Security Awareness: Understand and follow security protocols and patching procedures.
- Support the administration of enterprise email and security systems.
- Monitor system alerts and performance metrics; escalate issues as needed.
- Assist in writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for automation.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in system updates, patching, and routine maintenance.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for system-related issues.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and engineers on IT projects
- Contribute to the development of user guides and standard operating procedures.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge.
- Problem Solving: Able to identify issues and assist in troubleshooting.
- Communication: Effectively communicates technical information to team members.
