About the role

Concept Plus is seeking a Systems Analyst who will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) as changes and enhancements to the system are implemented. The Analyst will help conduct quality reviews, create project technical and management documentation and deliverables, support the tier III help desk, create and execute detailed system testing plans and test cases, and miscellaneous operational tasks for the success of the program. This individual may support the Agile development process with refining user and technical stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements specifications as well. The Analyst will support end user requests for assistance with the system, account management, and ticket escalation. They should be able to work well in a fast paced environment, sort through complex issues to see a path forward, and work collaboratively with stakeholders and others toward quality solutions. Excellent communication skills are required. Experience within Health IT, Federal agency experience (DoD or VA preferred), JIRA or Azure Dev Ops, ServiceNow (or similar help desk tool), and Agile Scrum are all preferred, but not required.


What you'll do

  • Communicate with team, customer, and stakeholders in a clear, concise, timely, and professional manner.
  • Support quality reviews of project documentation.
  • Assist with creation of system documentation such as Release Notes, application mock-ups, SOP’s, ICD’s, etc.
  • Interact with customers to obtain and document functional and technical system requirements.
  • Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to see how they can be developed into testable elements.
  • Create, execute, and document test results, compiling into a consolidated report for management and client staff.
  • Respond to help desk tickets timely with clear guidance for resolution.
  • Provide administrative support for deliverable submissions to the client.
  • Utilize Atlassian JIRA and/or Azure Dev Ops for Operational, Sprint, and Test management.
  • Create, contribute, and support development of contract deliverables.
  • Assist in developing test data to be used for validation of system changes.
  • Support application validation following Production releases (one weekend per quarter).


Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Business, Information Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Technology Management, or a degree in a closely related field
  • Experience with business/ systems analysis and quality assurance - including documentation, testing, user/technical story refinement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile development environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of IT project work experience
  • Health IT experience is a plus
  • DoD or VA experience
  • Security+ certification
  • Familiarity with JIRA and/or Azure Dev Ops
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Active Duty, Reserve or Guard experience
