Job Description

Position Details:

Title: System Administrator – Sr.

Location: Denver, CO 80237 (on-Site Role)

Duration: 6 Months (High possibility of long extension)


Description:

As a Systems Administrator, you will perform complex duties related to the operation and maintenance of clients software development environments and data centers. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the latest technologies and ensure that it evolves to meet organizational needs. You will also have the opportunity to provide a wide variety of technical user support.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provides a high level of technical expertise and support. Experienced and knowledgeable on MS Windows server and desktop OSs, networking devices, Active Directory, DNS, storage systems (EMC), SQL Server, Citrix, and VMWare
  • Ensures appropriate & timely escalations when technology interests are being compromised to ensure the correct levels of management visibility.
  • Contributes to work during non-business hours when appropriate to support major implementations or to react to service issues.
  • Administers the engineering life cycle of all infrastructures ensuring that all hardware and software are properly maintained and operates as intended.
  • Supports technical queries from customers and internal technology employees.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Windows Server & Active Directory System Administration (Experience required: 5 yrs. +). Needs to have system administration/troubleshooting experience with Windows 2003, 2008, 2012, Active Directory, DNS, DHC, Group Policy, IIS, SSL, Powershell Scripting
  • VMware vSphere Administration (Experience required: 2 yrs. +). Needs to have system administration/troubleshooting experience with VMware vSphere 5.1 and up, vCloud Director experience beneficial to have
  • SQL Server Administration (Experience required: 2 yrs. +). Needs to be able to manage/troubleshoot SQL Servers (2005, 2012, 2014) and (minor) database administration
  • Storage Administration EMC/Avamar Backups (1+ years or more preferred)
  • Windows Desktop Administration & Support (Experience required: 3 yrs. +)
  • Needs to have desktop support (including printer support) with Windows Operating systems. Some Mac OS experience beneficial
  • Citrix Administration (Experience required: 2 yrs. +). Needs to be able to manage/troubleshoot and install Citrix 6.5
  • Experience with network troubleshooting, TCP/IP, Firewall/BigIP
