Roles and Responsibilities

The Senior Vice President, Revenue Integrity will support the back-end revenue cycle operations, developing strategy and workflow to collect on underpaid, denied, non-paid accounts. This role is a client-facing representative. The Senior Vice President will report to the Chief Revenue Cycle Officer with dotted line reporting to the client leadership and C-suite teams. The Senior Vice President will attend and/or direct management meetings providing reporting on metrics for the client and translating metrics. May act as the first or second tier point of contact for the client for all revenue integrity and recovery related requests.
Responsibilities

Create and drive the business development strategy in collaboration with the CCO, CMO and other members of the Executive Leadership Team
- Primary driver of setting the strategic direction for the Revenue Integrity service line.
- Responsible for EBITDA Improvement and contributing to service line growth
- Responsible of KPI Performance across Ensemble clients. Develops and maintains RI related KPI for clients via scorecard performance tracking.
- Facilitate communication with Senior Leadership, the revenue cycle service center, and departments at the hospital, to ensure that trending issues causing denials and underpayments are root caused and corrected upstream in the patient account process
- Vet trended results and manage the realization of any remaining revenue in client accounts
- Assist in the performance of assessments for new clients
Qualifications & Experience
- 15+ years of related industry experience, leading and innovating back office RCM functions
- Demonstrated ability to take a consultative approach to engaging with C-level health system executives
- Experience within Academic Medical Centers preferred, not required
- Demonstrated success in partnering with sales (business development) in the pitch/BD process
- Ability to speak to both tactical and strategic decision makers
- Superb writing and presentation skills
