Summary:

The SVP, Finance is a key executive leader responsible for the company’s overall financial strategy, reporting, and operations, including oversight of investor relations, treasury, cash management, and financial planning. This role partners closely with the CFO and Controller, acting as a strategic advisor and ensuring strong alignment between financial performance, business objectives, and stakeholder communications.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead all financial reporting, cash management, treasury, and banking/warehouse relationships.

  • Oversee cash and escrow balances, financial transactions, wire transfers, and ensure compliance with loan sales, modifications, and repurchases.

  • Direct financial statement preparation, monthly/quarterly/year-end close, FP&A, budget management, and variance analysis.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership on capital, liquidity, and funding strategies to drive business growth.

  • Lead and develop the finance team, driving performance and high standards.

  • Manage special projects and other duties as assigned by executive leadership.

  • Oversee investor relations: develop strategies, prepare investor materials and presentations, monitor market trends, and serve as the main point of contact for financial inquiries and communications to stakeholders.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has direct reports. Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year College or University and/or MBA/master’s degree, preferred.

  • Minimum fifteen (15) years relevant experience in Accounting.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

A valid CPA CMA or other related accounting designation, preferred.
