Purpose of Role

Finance of America is seeking a Senior Vice President, Brand Strategy to serve as the enterprise owner of brand credibility, reputation, and narrative across one of the most important and rapidly evolving categories in financial services.

Beyond stewarding trust and safeguarding enterprise reputation, this role will lead the effort to bring Finance of America and its offerings into the mainstream, shaping a modern, authoritative, and inspiring narrative around home equity and retirement. The SVP will help redefine how reverse mortgages are understood and valued—by consumers, families, advisors, regulators, and the broader public—grounded in clarity, dignity, and financial empowerment.

This leader will be responsible for elevating the category conversation, positioning Finance of America as the trusted, modern leader in home-equity-based retirement solutions, and ensuring that complex financial products are communicated with precision, accessibility, and confidence, in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and best practices. The goal is not simply awareness, but understanding—and not just differentiation, but leadership.

Operating as a senior enterprise advisor to the CMO, CEO, and executive team, the SVP will balance long-term category leadership with near-term business performance, helping Finance of America earn greater relevance, consideration, and trust as more Americans look to their homes as a cornerstone of a secure retirement strategy.
